Alissa Escarce

Alissa Escarce is an associate producer at Latino USA. Her reporting has aired on NPR’s Morning Edition and Planet Money among other outlets, and she was previously a producer at NPR’s Life Kit. She has reported and produced stories on everything from Venezuelan currency traders, to an unsolved arson case in California, to how to maintain friendships as an adult. She is a 2019 UC Berkeley-11th Hour Food and Farming Journalism Fellow, and studied investigative journalism as a Stabile Fellow at Columbia Journalism School.
