Nikhil Swaminathan was a 2016-2017 Ida B. Wells Fellow with The Investigative Fund at The Nation Institute. He is a senior editor at Grist, leading its coverage of environmental justice. He has written for Scientific American, Newsweek, Nautilus, WIRED, and Atlanta Magazine.
